Hey...The World Didn't End Last Night!

The Large Hadron Collider was switched on at 3:30am EST last night. It was developed to run experiments to help find evidence of mysterious particles that have been hypothesized by physicists. There were totally unfounded fears that the machine would create a mini black hole that would destroy the world. It didn't happen. Should have trusted the scientists. Not the lunatics.

well, they haven't started slamming particles together yet - right now they just have one stream of protons going round and round really really fast!

once they get the 2nd stream going in the opposite direction - and then bash the two of them together - that's when the fun begins! (or ends?)

Everybody remembers just where they were when the Hadron Collider was first switched on. Why, I was in the shower (with the lights out). Defined a generation....

I cannot express enough how disappointed I was upon waking this morning to a non-destroyed earth. Sigh.

In the defense of the black hole theorists, their logic is much more believable and well thought out than the people who believe that a portal to hell will open.

Silly people, hell is here now...
